Karan Johar Recalls Struggling With His Sexuality, Says Only Shah Rukh Khan Accepted Him Being 'Pansy' With The 'Funny Walk': "My Feminine Side That Was Coming Out..."

Karan Johar opened up about his sexuality for the first time in his memoir, An Unsuitable Boy. He also addressed rumors about his alleged affair with his best friend, Shah Rukh Khan. While those were just wild assumptions, many wouldn't know that SRK was the first person to accept KJo's inclinations and make him feel comfortable in his skin. Scroll below for more details!

There have been numerous occasions when Karan has been teased about his sexual orientation. He has faced brutal trolls over the years who mocked the way he speaks, walks, or even grooves. I feel like he accepted what in those days was considered being pansy, being effeminate or walking funny. He was just so cool about anything. He even had a lot of open chats with me. Whenever I had to say the biggest thing about my personality and sexuality, I spoke to him first. He was that one sense of support. Even he doesn't realize what he's been to me."

That's not it! KJo also revealed that he pretended to have a crush on a girl when he was in the 10th standard in order to fit in! He was only pretending to be "cool" but termed her his "first reality check."

Karan Johar welcomed two children via surrogacy in February 2017 – Yash and Roohi. His mother, Hiroo, has been his biggest support in parenting
